Haven't come here for more than a decade, this place is still awesome. Brought a group of friends here at 8:30pm on a Wednesday night and had a really great time! Got a Lombardo's special pizza, cacciatore pizza, Lombardo's special pasta and funghi pasta to share among 6 people. Favourite is the funghi pasta - it has amazing depth of flavour.
I love everything about this place. I’ve been a regular here for years, but for some reason, I’ve never ordered their pizza until now. I didn’t know that Lombardo’s was the first wood oven pizza place in Vancouver, and I can’t believe it took me so long to try it. I ordered a Capricciosa, and it was incredible. The taste, texture, and size were amazing. Definitely one of the best authentic Italian pizzas I’ve had in Vancouver.
I visited this place with family base on a friend's recommendation. The pizzas are delicious with high quality ingredients made in a wood fire oven.
This was a fantastic experience Tuesday night. It started with great service...a yummy cocktail...amazing calamari. And then there was the pizza. Honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. We got the Capricciosa and the Smoked Salmon one. Both were amazing! We had wine too- it was good. And finished off with the Tiramisu made in house. So rich and creamy. A little different than I’ve had before but quite nice. No question I’ll be back- do yourself a favour and get the pizza.
We had a wonderful time in Lombardo with our kids! They especially enjoyed the hands-on experience of making their own pizzas and drinks—it was a fun and memorable activity for the whole family. The food we ordered was also delicious, making the experience even more enjoyable!
I’ve always loved this place but it’s been a while since I lived overseas for a while. We had the seafood cannelloni and the pasta with prawns, scallops and mushrooms. Both were delicious although a bit heavy with both being a cream sauce. We started off with the calamari which was also very good. This is the place to go if you want a comforting plate of pasta.
It’s been a while since we’ve dined here as we are from out of town but we had a fabulous experience! The service was stellar and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The pizza was yum (the number 5) - maybe baking it a tad bit more to make it crispy on the bottom would have made it perfect! We will definitely be back again for more!

The staff, from top to bottom, were exceptional—attentive, kind, and genuinely happy to make our evening special. We even had the good fortune to meet the owner, whose dedication to creating such a joyful and authentic experience was evident in every detail of the evening. This was the best birthday experience I could have hoped for, filled with laughter, music, delicious food, and great company.
